Veale Wasbrough merges with Vizards Tweedie
BRISTOL LAW firm Veale Wasbrough has merged with London-based Vizards Tweedie, creating a firm with 46 partners and a combined turnover of some £22m.
Veale Wasbrough had been expanding its influence outside its home Bristol region for a number of years.
“We have been making great strides nationally in sectors such as education, charities and healthcare,” said managing partner Simon Heald.
“We moved into an office in London about two years ago to support this work so this represents a great step forward in the development of our business. We are looking forward to working with our new colleagues.”
Vizards Tweedie commercial property partner, Ron Perry, added: “We really could not have found a better match in terms of culture and synergy.”
The merged firm is now known as Veale Wasbrough Vizards, and will continue to operate from two offices in central Bristol and London.
Veale Wasbrough also recruited private client partner Christopher Mills from Hereford’s Gabbs Solicitors in November 2009.
