Bingham bags London tax partner
INTERNATIONAL LAW firm Bingham McCutchen has hired a tax partner for its London office.
Stuart Sinclair joins the firm’s tax and employee benefits group from the London office of McDermott Will & Emery, bringing financial -services expertise in cross-border corporate tax planning, as well as structured finance and restructuring.
London managing partner James Roome said the move boosted the firm’s ability to deal with such matters for the firm’s “wider international client base”.
Bingham is a firm of approximately 1,000 lawyers, with eight offices across the US, Europe and Asia. Predominantly US-based, thy include Boston, Hiong Kong, London, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Francisco, Tokyo and Washington.
In May 2009 the firm also hired litigation partner Peter Obstler, for its San Francisco office, from O’Melveney & Myers.
