asb law appoints new corporate finance partner
UK LAW firm asb law has announced the appointment of a new partner to its corporate finance team.
Claire Williams, a qualified barrister and solicitor from New Zealand, has previously worked in Herbert Smith’s corporate group, and most recently at the regional law firm Brachers Solicitors, where she spent five years building a corporate practice.
“We are delighted to have attracted one of the region’s local stars,” said Matthew Newman, head
of corporate finance at asb law. “Claire will add further depth and quality to an already outstanding team.”
The appointment follows a successful period for the firm’s corporate team, advising on 98 deals, valued at over £840m in the past financial year.
Williams commented she was excited to be joining “one of the strongest corporate law teams in the
South East”.
