Pannone named best law firm for employees
MANCHESTER-BASED law firm Pannone has emerged as the best UK law firm to work for, according to The Sunday Times annual ‘Top 100 Companies To Work For’.
Pannone, which came fifth in the poll, and has retained a top-ten rank for the past five consecutive years, dropped two places in the list, down from third in 2007. It was praised for developing a positive work environment, with 85 per cent of employees citing the clear definition in individuals’ roles at the firm.
“To finish as highly placed as we have demonstrates our ongoing commitment to making Pannone a great place to work,” said managing partner Steven Grant. “It also highlights the effort that all of our employees have put in to make us one of the region’s leading solicitors.”
“Despite the fact we now employ over 700 staff as opposed to just 500 only three years ago, we still maintain a genuine ‘family’ atmosphere,” he added.
Other firms appearing in the top 100 included northwest rival Brabners Chaffe Street, which placed 27th, UK firm Addleshaw Goddard at 40th, Berwin Leighton Paisner at 74th, city giant Linklaters at 93rd, and international firm Olswang at 95th.
