Reed Smith launches German IP practice
INTERNATIONAL LAW firm Reed Smith has hired an intellectual property partner from Gleiss Lutz to launch a new practice in Munich.
Belinda Paisley, head of the firm’s commercial disputes group for Europe and the Middle East, said the appointment would assist the firm in its aim of winning “high-end IP instructions from existing and new clients based in Europe and the US”.
Alexander R. Klett specialises in copyright, trademark, design and media law. His arrival follows the firm’s lateral hire of corporate lawyer Klaus Grossman, who joined from the Munich office of Hammonds in late 2007.
