Denton Wilde Sapte forms St Petersburg alliance
DENTON WILDE Sapte (DWS) has announced an association with the St Petersburg firm Duvernoix Legal.
The union will add to DWS’s presence in the region, which comprises 77 fee-earners and offices in Almaty, Moscow and Tashkent, and highlights the growing importance of St Petersburg in the Russian market.
“This association will open up new areas of business for us and help us to maintain our position as one of the largest international law firms in the Commonwealth of Independent States,” explained chief executive Howard Morris.
The managing partner of DWS’s Moscow office, Doran Doeh, added: “Duvernoix Legal will add an important facet to our presence in this key market and the combination of their Russian client base with our international one offer both firms scope for expansion.”
The 18-lawyer St Petersburg firm specialises in tax, litigation, corporate and real-estate advice. Managing partner, Egor Noskov, said the association would offer “exciting opportunities” for both parties.
