Dorsey hires former Eversheds litigation partner
DORSEY & WHITNEY has boosted its litigation practice with the appointment of a former litigation partner from international law firm Eversheds.
Tim Maloney, who was head of Eversheds’ London-based litigation practice, will bolster Dorsey’s dispute offering in London. The appointment will help rebuild the Minneapolis-headquartered firm’s litigation practice, which lost a four-lawyer team to LG (formerly Lawrence Graham) in February.
“Dorsey provides me with an opportunity to further expand my business and financial litigation practice,” said Maloney.
Maloney is the third litigation partner to leave Eversheds this year (dispute resolution partners Gerallt Owen and Peter Kiernan moved to US firm Cromwell & Moring in April) and the second loss for the firm’s London office in the past month after real-estate partner Neil Logan Green moved to K&L Gates in July.
